Excursión a los ranqueles

Las jornadas de la Mont Pelerin Foundation terminarán con una excursión a San Antonio de Areco, donde un grupo selecto de participantes gozará de lo que el programa describe como “Intellectual Day at the Countryside” (un día intelectual en el campo). Allí los recibirán con una degustación de vino tinto y “homemade ‘empanadas’”, para luego pasar al “typical Argentine ‘asado’”, un corte de carne “sirloin”, o bien un pollo orgánico con ensalada de lechuga, tomate y cebolla, zanahorias y apio. De postre, habrá helado casero con salsa de moras. Todo regado con vino tinto López malbec o Traful de López blanco. A la hora del té podrán probar “homemade ‘pastelitos’” y mate cocido (que también está entre comillas en el programa, como el resto de las pocas palabras en castellano). Para los que no quieran escuchar la conferencia sobre el populismo que dará durante la visita Vargas Llosa, habrá disponibles carruajes y corceles listos para los hombres a caballo.
